I have enjoyed working in the financial services industry since 1980. My career began at CIBC where I worked for ten years before moving to Burns Fry in 1990, which became Nesbitt Burns. From there I joined the predecessor firm of Macquarie Private Wealth in 1997, where I had greater flexibility to provide unbiased advice and more sophisticated technology with which to offer my clients an elevated wealth management experience.
Extremely dedicated to my career and passionate about helping my clients to invest wisely, I regularly see a business coach who is helping me to develop my skills. Pursuing my vision to become the very best investment professional possible, I am currently studying to receive my Registered Life Planner® designation from The Kinder Institute, a life and financial planning organization founded by George Kinder, CFP, the father of the life planning movement.
One of the highlights of my career was a project in which I helped to finance the new charter airline and tour operator Enerjet for the co-founders of WestJet. Together with the firm, I helped to raise $22 million to help launch this promising venture.
When I indulge myself with spare time, I enjoy spending it with my family and pursuing the art of fine cuisine. I studied Business Administration at the University of Regina, volunteered at the Cookbook Company Cooking School in Calgary, and look forward to helping the less fortunate in my community.
