Alan Young I have been helping people to plan successful financial strategies for over a decade. My career in the investment industry began in 1998 at a predecessor firm of Macquarie Private Wealth. I obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics from the University of British Columbia, travelled the world for a year and worked at a Canadian helicopter manufacturer before joining the financial industry.

As well as being a devoted dad to my three young kids, I volunteer as a carded soccer coach for my eldest son's league. I was previously a nationally ranked ski racer and currently play community premier club soccer.
