Harp Sandhu

BA, Econ., CSA - Investment Advisor

Harp Sandu I have been in the financial industry for over 13 years. Prior to joining the predecessor firm to Macquarie Private Wealth, I was an Investment Advisor with Canaccord Capital and Edward Jones and, before that, worked at RBC Mutual Funds.

At the University of Victoria, I completed my Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in Economics. In 2001, I completed the Professional Financial Planning Course (PFP) with Honours. In June of 2009, after extensive training and study I earned my Certified Senior Advisor designation from the Canadian Academy of Senior Advisors. I am also experienced and qualified to provide advice and recommendations on options and derivatives as well as life, accident and critical illness insurance. I believe in ongoing continuing education to remain fully informed as a wealth management professional.

Born and raised in Campbell River, I have always lived on Vancouver Island. In my spare time, I enjoy life with my family. I can often be found out and about with my wife, Sukkie, my son, Jeevan and daughter, Asha, enjoying the sites and sounds around Victoria. I also enjoy golfing and playing ice hockey.

I am a member of the Victoria chapter of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows.
