Brian WorthAfter holding teaching and research posts at universities in Australia, the UK and Canada, Brian moved into the business world. After running several small businesses in B.C., he joined the financial services industry in the mid 1980’s. Brian was a senior trading officer at C.M. Oliver & Co. before leaving to co-found another high profile brokerage firm. There he was President and CEO until 1995 when he formed his own brokerage firm and ran it until the business was acquired by the predecessor firm to Macquarie Private Wealth in late 2005. Brian has been investing and managing client portfolios for over 20 years. He is a registered Portfolio Manager and is a senior officer of Macquarie Private Wealth..

Brian enjoys travelling and golf and spending time with his two sons.

 

 

Gerald Allaye-Chan, BA Econ., CIM, FCSI

Gerald Allaye-ChanGerald has been providing investment advisory and investment management services for clients since 1994. After graduating from the University of British Columbia with a Bachelor degree in Economics, he began his career in the financial services industry with a major Canadian chartered bank. He has attained the Canadian Investment Management (CIM) and the Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute (FCSI) designations. His interest in business and capital markets led him to becoming a wealth management advisor. He is a registered portfolio manager providing discretionary portfolio management services. As a registered options advisor, Gerald uses lower risk option strategies to enhance portfolio returns. His joy of working closely with clients is reflected in his goal to make the investing experience less intimidating and more understandable. Gerald is a frequent guest commentator on the Business News Network (BNN).

Away from the office, Gerald enjoys cycling, hockey, tennis and spending quality time with his wife and three young children.
