Ron Zwicker and Vicki Cook

Ron Zwicker, BA, B.Ed — Investment Advisor

Ron Zwicker Ron has been in the financial industry for twenty-three years. Prior to joining the predecessor firm to Macquarie Private Wealth, he worked with Vicki Cook at Canaccord Capital as an Investment Advisor. Ron graduated from the University of Alberta earning both his Bachelor of Arts and Education degrees. He is Option and Security qualified in both Canada and the United States.

Through the years, he has seen many market cycles and from this experience he has developed his investment strategy of balanced portfolio management tailored to each client's unique needs. He is committed to ongoing continuing education to remain fully informed as a wealth management professional.

Ron comes from a prairie background, growing up in Saskatchewan, Manitoba and Alberta before moving to the west coast in 1986 to begin his career as an Investment Advisor. Always active, he enjoys annual kayaking and camping trips with his family as well as boating, fishing, squash, skiing, and trying (as always) to improve his golf game.

Vicki Cook, B.Comm, CIM, CSWP, FCSI — Associate Investment Advisor

Vicki Cook Vicki has thirteen years of experience in the investment industry. Before moving to the predecessor firm to Macquarie Private Wealth, she worked with Ron Zwicker at Canaccord Capital as an Investment Advisor. Vicki has a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a specialty in Entrepreneurship from the University of Victoria, a Level II insurance^† license as well as the Canadian Investment Manager (CIM), Chartered Strategic Wealth Professional (CSWP), Financial Management Advisor (FMA) and Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute (FCSI) designations.

Her main focus is on preparing our financial plans and investment recommendations for our clients. Like Ron, she is committed to ongoing continuing education to remain up-to-date on providing wealth management services.

When she is not advising our investors, Vicki helps to run a retail pet store in Sidney, BC with her husband, and enjoys spending time with her young son and two dogs. She started a competitive women's volleyball league in Victoria, and is active in operating and playing in the league.
