Daniel Quon and I dedicate ourselves to managing your wealth by combining sound investment advice with unparalleled personalized service. We provide the discipline and experience required to help conservative investors enhance their assets and protect their estates for future generations.
Christopher has worked in the industry for over three decades. After obtaining his MBA, Chris began his career in banking and soon completed his securities registration to become an advisor so he could more effectively assist his clients with their financial planning. This focus on clients’ needs has prevailed throughout Christopher’s career — what drives him more than anything else is his commitment to doing right by his clients. This desire to place clients first is exemplified by the fact that in 1991, Chris was one of the first in Canada to become a fee-based Investment Advisor.
His honesty and commitment to serving others is demonstrated in other areas of his life as well. Chris has been a Foster Parent for many years and is a devoted citizen in the community, having volunteered at various international sports events including the preparation for the 2010 Vancouver Olympics. He still chooses to play rugby!
Christopher’s financial expertise is also sought by the publishing world. He is co-author of The Best Is Yet to Come, Enjoying a Financially Secure Retirement as well as technical editor for the Canadian editions of Finance for DummiesTM titles.
Daniel has been working with Chris for almost ten years. His focus is on delivering high-end, personalized service to every client. If you’re having difficulty understanding your statements, require support accessing your financial information online, or have questions about any of our forms, Daniel is your number one contact.
After having attended university in Hong Kong and in Taiwan, Daniel completed his honours degree in Political Science and Economics at Simon Fraser University. He began his investment career in 1998 with Merrill Lynch. Daniel joined Chris Cottier in 2001 and has been an integral team member ever since. In 2002, Daniel was awarded the distinguished Queen’s Golden Jubilee Medal for his long-standing volunteer commitment and dedication to the community.
