Sandra L. Pierce "The Bag Lady of Bay Street™" is the financial empowerment avatar of Sandra Pierce, Associate Director and Investment Advisor at Macquarie Private Wealth. "The Bag Lady" gets her name from a phenomenon called "Bag Lady Syndrome" that causes even very successful women like Katie Couric, Sherry Lansing, Gloria Steinem and Lily Tomlin to fear that they will lose all their money and end up destitute on the street. Irrational, but a very real nightmare for many successful women throughout the world — one that even Sandra experienced but gained control over. Sandra now coaches others on how they can overcome "Bag Lady Syndrome."

Today, Sandra helps CEOs, law firm partners, executives and even young professionals express their financial fears or concerns, and educates them about the issues and the solutions available. Knowledge is empowerment and Sandra spends a lot of her time listening and teaching through one-on-one or group meetings.
