In April 2010, I hosted The Power of the Purse, a gala dinner and silent auction at Holt Renfrew for 50 women that raised $29,155 towards a girl’s residential school in Tanzania through Plan Canada’s Because I am a Girl.

With a matching donation from the Macquarie Group Foundation (pending approval) this will represent a total donation of $58,310!!!
